Infertility in men and women can be caused by a number of conditions, some of which are comparatively easy to treat and others which require surgical intervention. Before you visit your doctor it’s a good idea to compile a medical history for both you and your partner. This should include gynaecological history including information about menstruation, length and frequency of the cycle, heavy bleeding, cramping, which contraception has been used, and if you have suffered from any sexually transmitted diseases.
