What is Phlebotomy?

Phlebotomy is described as the task which involves drawing out blood from the living beings namely humans and animals for the purpose of diagnoses of illness or diseases. The blood can be withdrawn from the arteries, veins and even other capillaries. However, one thing to be ensured by the phlebotomist is to minimize the pain and discomfort from the commencement of the procedure till the conclusive end.
